“ as the place says: wines are outstanding, food is good, service is terrible.. :D although it was a bit more complex dinner experience. first of all: one of the best places around Zurich, although if you look at their prices, you have to judge it in that context and along those expectations they come with. Wines are indeed great, we had 5 wines, 3-4 were great, 1-2 OK. Although I would not go again with their "recommended" pairing line-up to the surprise degu menu: the price of the Europe package was higher, than the 4 glasses would have been end up from the best by glass menu I've seen so fat; and honestly the pairings were questionable: the Slovenian white and salmon sashimi was a match made in heaven, the soup would have asked for a white with more freshness than that Scheurebe, and while the strong barrique tempranillo was nicely ripe for a 2015, it was just too much for that Surf & Turf, especially for the beautiful colossal schrimp; finally an old Sauternes (1989) and cheese plate is a safe bet (some blue chase might have been interesting + nuts) and I was surprised that my glass was quite full of cork residuals (didnt want to make a foss in front of our business partner, or derail our discussion). Some more info on the dishes at this price point would be already quite expected from the staff. ”
“ Slightly off the beaten track, but well-worth the effort. Food was good, especially the ‘cheesecake’ starter (Manuel, our host was at the same time professional, engaging and funny when it comes to this dish). Wine list is hard to beat, with friendly prices. And an impressive whisky list to boot! We had a sublime Port Ellen bottling by SSMC to finish off a great meal. Will definitely be back! ”

“ Hello everyone, this restaurant is a beautiful hidden gem serves delicious Swiss food, the experience was great from the reception to paying the check, the staff was accommodating and helpful, i sat outdoor with a nice breeze which sweetened the experience. I ordered poached egg with spinach and a hint of truffle, Tartare beef and unconventional strawberry tiramisu, all went well nicely, so this place is a trip worthy if you are around Zürich. ”
